As Triple C’s Owners/Directors since 1999, Libby and “H”Rothenberg open their hearts to your child(ren).
Libby, a Registered Nurse and American Red Cross Life Guard Instructor Trainer, is a true camp Mom. She evolved from camper to Director at Girl Scout Camp’s in the midwest. Libby has Directed for private camps, not-for-profit camps and year round sports programs. Libby is a dedicated Scout. A lifer with the Girl Scouts she has visited every international Girl Scout center world wide. Libby has also been involved with both her children’s Scout troops. Leader for Eryn through Eryn’s Gold Award as a senior in high school and Program Coordinator for Ryan for his boy scout troop where he earned his Eagle Award. One of Libby’s most proud achievements is Eryn and Ryan both receiving the highest honor in their respective Scouting organizations.
“H” has been at camp every summer since 1975 having gone through the ranks of camper, Counselor, Unit Head, Assistant Director, and Director at private and not-for-profit camps in the Midwest. He has a degree in Elementary Education and has coached and directed basketball teams/leagues at all grade levels. In 2008, “H” co-founded Virginia Developmental Basketball League(VDBL) which is a sub program of Virgina Basketball Academy(VABA). “H” also is the Professional Development chair for American Camp Association Virginias Section where he organizes educational programming for camp professionals.
Beginning in the fall of 2016 “H” took on a new role in the professional camp industry. He shifted his focus to CAMP COACH, a professional development support operation for others in the camping industry. Libby and our amazing year round staff continue to give camp their full attention.
Over the last 18 years, Libby and “H” have served over 18,000 children at TRIPLE C CAMP!!!!!

Director of Year Round Programs
Shannon Myers’ first role at Triple C was is 2009 as a part-time Facilitator on the Ropes Course. She joined the Triple C Camp staff team full-time, year round as our Assistant Director in January of 2012. As the community demanded more time at Triple C Camp, Shannon took on the role of Director of Year Round Programs in 2014.
Shannon reigns from Virginia, and absolutely LOVES hugs! The color purple radiates from this woman. Her favorite quote is “Forget perfection… perfection is not a goal. Live instead for curiosity and honor, compassion and courage… and by achieving those, you then will live a life of excellence!”
Shannon is an avid horseback rider, a lifeguard instructor, and loves to be outside. She lives in Crozet and her kids are working their way through the Western part of Albemarle County Schools.

Katie and Chris Lukas and their dog, Bibbs, are a critical part of the Triple C Camp Family. They live on grounds and you will see them all year long at the “Friendly Confines” of Triple C Camp! They are originally from the Cleveland Area and are huge Cleveland sports fans… GO BROWNS! Katie has a strong background in Camp, Outdoor Education and Gymnastics. You will hear her singing around the property at the top of her lungs! Chris has been leading Outdoor Education, Ropes Course Programs and Summer Camps for years. They are climbers and hikers, and all around fun folks. All our campers are fortunate to have them as strong members of the team! Bibbs is their Border Collie Mix, and loves romping in the camp woods, and barking at things only she can see.
Eryn Rothenberg is back at Triple C Camp following a season interning with the WNBA Washington Mystics and excursions “down under”. She has been a camper, counselor, lifeguard, program director, registrar extraordinaire, culinary master and now the glue holding it all together. Her Masters Degree in Sports Management was good preparation for all that goes on at Triple C year round. She enjoys sports, world travel and the never ending humor of the campers. She has been sky diving, bungee jumping, glacier hiking, alps tram riding and awaits her next adventure!

Kasey Massih hails from Melbourne, Australia and has been at camp for the past 4 summers! This time she is here for a long haul. She is an avid equestrian. In Oz she organizes riding programs, trains horses, and has been as star in the Honda customer service organization. Apart from horses, she loves travelling, eating chocolate, working out and sing-alongs to great tunes.
Travis Yuille is a master on the challenge course and at impersonating a South African, oh wait, he IS a South African! He is back for his 7th year at Triple C, while on an extended visa. Back home Travis is an adventure guide loving his zip lines, mountain scooters and river rafting! He loves Charlottesville, for it mountain views, Sunday SOCA leagues and his Triple C Camp family.
