Rising 7th - 9th Grade

Social Growth

Our Teen Scene counselors partner with campers to create a welcoming, inclusive environment all summer long. We take the time to foster friendships, facilitate positive communication and lead by example.

Personal Growth

7th - 9th grade is a time of big changes! We help our teens embrace who they are and who they want to be. Our intentionally designed activities help navigate the tides of the early teen years.

Critical Thinking

We encourage our campers to be problem solvers. Our 7th - 9th graders are given opportunities to think for themselves, adjust or revise in a safe caring environment.

Community

Camp focuses on campers belonging to a community. Both at camp and throughout Charlottesville, our Teen Scene campers see the impact they can make.

Social Skills

We know it is vital to develop social skills throughout the teen years. Practicing these skills allows teens to become thriving adults. Our Teen Scene campers start by introducing themselves to new people, making eye contact and using each other's names. These basic skills go a long way to making a good first impression.

Leadership

As some of our oldest campers we look to Teen Scene to help set an example of what it means to be awesome. With special privileges of being in Teen Scene comes the opportunity to practice important leadership skills. We have high expectations of our 7th - 9th graders as the face of Triple C Camp.

All About
TEEN SCENE

We get it…7th – 9th graders want something a little different from the status quo. We offer jam-packed sessions with camp favorites and exciting new experiences. At a time in life when everything feels like it’s changing, we remain a steady force where teens can thrive.

Throughout the week Teen Scene campers participate in choice activities such as swimming, sports, horseback riding, art, nature, hiking and more. They will also adventure out of camp on field trips.
