Developing Skills

This is a time when youth want to try a variety of activities. Weekly options allow for joining a group of similar aged campers with similar interests.

Identity

Approaching middle school, students are becoming aware of where they fit in a group. At camp they have the opportunity to interact with different personalities on a social level, meet new people and practice being a good friend.

Critical Thinking

Being able to practice critical thinking in a safe space allows our Explorers to experiment with analyzing facts, forming opinions, and evaluating evidence. This 21st Century Skill gives campers the confidence to make the best choices for themselves.

Conflict Resolution

This is a skill that takes constant practice and refinement. Camp remains a safe and respectable environment to navigate the many tools useful in conflict resolution.

Independence

The opportunity to choose a specialty allows our Explorers the freedom to guide their destiny at camp. They are responsible for the choices they make, and the impact of those choices.
