Explorers
Rising 4th-6th Grades
Our Explorers Program is designed to empower campers as they embark on a journey of self-discovery and skill development. As an Explorer, campers can dive into a variety of activities, explore their identities, and build lasting friendships. Through engaging experiences, campers will enhance their critical thinking, refine conflict resolution skills, foster independence, and practice positive communication. Our counselors create a supportive environment where every Explorer can thrive and grow, both as a person and as a member of a vibrant community!
Explorer campers have the opportunity to register for one of six program focus areas. Each Explorer group will have water related activities daily.
Art & Drama allows campers to unleash their creativity through various artistic expressions. They can explore visual arts, theater, and performance, fostering self-expression and imagination while building confidence in their talents.

Challenge Course
Campers in Challenge tackle physical and mental challenges designed to enhance their problem-solving and teamwork skills. They navigate our challenge course and engage in trust-building exercises using our high ropes and low teambuilding elements, fostering resilience and cooperation.
Colt Camp
Colt Camp is designed to provide campers with essential skills in all levels of horseback riding and equine care, including grooming and saddling. In this supportive environment, they build confidence and responsibility while learning about horse behavior and health. Colt Camp encourages personal growth, patience, and teamwork, making it a fulfilling experience both in and out of the saddle.
This nature exploration group immerses campers in the beauty of the outdoors through guided hikes, wildlife observation, and hands-on conservation projects. Sports & Games
Campers participate in a wide range of physical activities that promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and fitness. They engage in traditional sports such as soccer, basketball, and volleyball, as well as fun, interactive games that encourage friendly competition and collaboration. Through these activities, campers learn the value of working together, supporting one another, and developing a healthy lifestyle while having a blast.
Quest
Our QUEST campers will experience a combination of all Explorer Programs. Activities will include art, sport, nature, challenge, and an introduction to the horses. Campers will participate in all of the above, plus swimming and traditional camp games/activities throughout the week. This program offers a little bit of it all!
Personalized Experiences
Campers can choose from a range of specialty activities each week, empowering them to explore their interests and take ownership of their camp experience. This flexibility allows them to delve deeper into activities they are passionate about while also encouraging them to try new things, fostering a sense of independence and self-discovery.
Social & Emotional Growth
As they approach middle school, campers interact with diverse personalities and practice essential friendship skills in a supportive environment. This opportunity helps them understand group dynamics, build empathy, and navigate social situations more effectively. By forming connections with peers, they develop stronger interpersonal skills.
communication & Critical Thinking
Explorers enhance their critical thinking abilities by analyzing facts and forming opinions in a safe space. They learn to communicate positively by thinking before speaking and practicing active listening. This focus on effective communication not only helps them express themselves clearly but also fosters a sense of responsibility for their choices and their impact on others.
