We call students recognized by their teachers and through participation in our expeditions our Future Environmental Leaders. These students will have special access to presentations and programs.

"Polar Bears: A Tale of Two Populations"

Popular culture has made polar bears a face of global warming. For 10 years, Environmental Education Director, Mike Bruscia his traveled extensively to polar regions to study, photograph and teach about polar bears. During this presentation, he bring the arctic to you. He describes the impacts of climate change on two populations of polar bears, those in Northern Canada and those in Spitsbergen.
